Academy Award winner Kathy Bates (Richard Jewell, Misery) and Liza Koshy (Work It, “Liza on Demand”) join the cast of a new rom-com film for Netflix along with the previously announced Nicole Kidman, Zac Efron, and Joey King.
Richard LaGravenese directed the film and penned it alongside Carrie Solomon. Alyssa Altman executives produced the film.
The film follows a young woman that finds a surprise romance due to comic consequences, her mother, and her movie star boss as they face the complications of love, sex, and identity.
Netflix hasn’t released any other details about the film.
