Acting Capitol Police Chief Yogananda Pittman: Extremists Plan to ‘Blow Up the Capitol’ Around the State Of The Union

During her testimony before Congress, Acting US Capitol Police Chief Yogananda Pittman disclosed that the Capitol Police are aware of threats from militia groups present at the January 6th insurrection to stage another attack. According to Pittman, militia groups have said that they want to “blow up the Capitol” in an action around the 2021 State of the Union address, which has yet to be scheduled.
