A disturbing video capturing a woman identified as Esmeralda Armendarez-Upton verbally abusing and threatening a group of Indian women in Plano, Texas, has sparked outrage on social media. The footage, uploaded by one of the victims, Indrani Mukherjee, depicts a shocking display of racism and aggression.

According to Mukherjee’s account on Facebook, the incident occurred outside Sixty Vines in Plano during a dinner outing with friends. Armendarez-Upton allegedly directed racist slurs at the women, including telling them to “go back to India” and referring to them as “curry-assed people,” while also resorting to physical aggression.

The video quickly went viral, drawing widespread condemnation and calls for accountability. Mukherjee, in her Facebook post, described the ordeal as terrifying and unprecedented in her nearly three decades of living in the Dallas-Forth Worth area.

Law enforcement promptly responded to the distress call, and the matter is now under investigation. Mukherjee stated that they have been advised not to provide further comments at this stage.

Esmeralda Armendarez-Upton, identified as the perpetrator in the video, is reported to be a realtor for California Federal Bank and an active member of the Prince of Peace Catholic Church in Plano, Texas. Authorities have not yet released any official statements regarding potential charges or consequences for Armendarez-Upton.
