Aidan Maese-Czeropski, a legislative aide for Senator Ben Cardin (D-MD), is considering legal action following his involvement in an explicit video scandal. The video, which was allegedly shot in a Senate Judiciary Committee hearing room, depicts two men engaging in explicit behavior. While the report did not initially identify the staffer, Maese-Czeropski’s name quickly spread on social media.
In a Friday evening LinkedIn post, Maese-Czeropski denied the specific accusations regarding the explicit video. However, he acknowledged “poor judgment” in the past without directly addressing the pornographic material. He stated, “While some of my actions in the past have shown poor judgement, I love my job and would never disrespect my workplace. Any attempts to characterize my actions otherwise are fabricated, and I will be exploring what legal options are available to me in these matters.”
Maese-Czeropski also denied an unrelated allegation that he assaulted Rep. Max Miller (R-OH) on Capitol Hill, claiming that he had never seen the congressman and had no reason to confront him.
The explicit video, obtained by The Daily Caller, was reportedly filmed by a congressional staffer inside the Hart Senate Office Building. The material surfaced hours after the male staffer, who was not identified, had been reportedly filming explicit videos in the Capitol. The report references the staffer’s public social media account, where sexually explicit content is allegedly posted.
