Alexa Melton, age 25, seems to have made it clear in a recent Instagram interaction with a fan that her relationship with Christian Pulisic, the AC Milan football player, age 27, is officially over.
In response to a comment from a follower who said that the separation was a “generational fumble,” the professional golfer went ahead to state that the U.S. National Team captain had allegedly been “on Raya before it even ended.”
This claim has been followed by several screenshots of Pulisic’s dating profile on the Raya app that have gone viral, prompting speculation on social media about the exact time of the separation.
After dating for 22 months, Pulisic and Melton finally parted ways. The couple was first seen dating in June 2024 when the former was spotted with her during the U.S. Women’s Open Golf Tournament. The athlete confirmed that his initial approach to the professional golfer came after reaching out to her via social media.
In 2025, the couple became the face of a sports couple in American soccer, with Melton always visiting Italy to watch her boyfriend play at AC Milan. Together, they were seen in various social media posts, including the club’s 125th-anniversary event.
Despite the hectic schedules that come with both of their international careers, Melton continues to pursue her dream of making it onto the LPGA Tour.
