Angeli Rose Gomez drove 40 miles to Robb Elementary School in Uvalde, TX after hearing about the shooting.
She tells the Wall Street Journal that marshals handcuffed her for demanding police go into the school. Later, she persuaded officers to take the cuffs off her.
She then jumped a fence, ran inside the school, and rescued her two kids while police refused to let parents in but officers never moved into the school.
