Netflix has landed the feature rights for Kotaro Isaka’s (Bullet Train) book Seesaw Monster.
Anne Hathaway and Salma Hayek Pinault are attached to star and produce. Olivia Milch is writing the screenplay.
The details are under wraps, but Hathaway and Hayek Pinault will play rivals forced to work together in an action comedy two-hander.
Akiva Goldsman and Gregory Lessans for Weed Road Pictures; Salma Hayek Pinault for Ventanarosa Productions; Anne Hathaway for Somewhere Pictures; Ryosuke Saegusa and Yuma Terada ( Bullet Train ) for CTB Inc. will serve as producers.
Jose Tamez, Siobhan Flynn for Ventanarosa Productions; Adam Shulman, Jonathan Rice for Somewhere Pictures; and Milch are executive producers.
