Anthony Mackie and Malcolm Spellman Talk “The Falcon and The Winter Soldier”

In Marvel Studios’ “The Falcon and The Winter Soldier,” Sam Wilson/Falcon and Bucky Barnes/Winter Soldier, who came together in the final moments of “Avengers: Endgame,” team up on a global adventure that tests their abilities—and their patience. The massive hit Disney + show stars Anthony Mackie and Sebastian Stan. The series is directed by Kari Skogland; Malcolm Spellman is head writer.

We had the opportunity to interview Anthony Mackie and “The Falcon and The Winter Soldier” head writer Malcolm Spellman about the blockbuster series and transitioning over to ‘Captain America 4.’

Mackie spoke on life after the huge announcement and how he keeps sane from doing back to back to back projects. He also spoke on the legacy of Chadwick Boseman. Mackie goes into detail on why they should recast anyone as ‘T’Challa in Black Panther 2.’

Spellman talks about having black voices in the writers room and the significance of showing Mackie character Sam Wilson culture within his show.

The six-episode series also stars Daniel Brühl, Emily VanCamp, Wyatt Russell, Erin Kellyman, Adepero Oduye, Amy Aquino and Danny Ramirez.
