Rep. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez is attacking Republican lawmakers for their contradictory arguments on whether or not Immigration and Customs Enforcement agents should wear masks while on duty, especially after ICE agents were deployed to airports in the United States without masks.
In a video clip shared on PabloReports, Rep. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez made comments about Republicans who had previously argued that ICE agents should wear masks during high-risk operations for their safety.
“They were always full of it then, and they are full of it now,” Rep. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez said.
This comes at a time when ICE agents have been deployed to airports to help with Transportation Security Administration duties without masks, especially as a shutdown at the Department of Homeland Security looms.
