Ariana Grande is speaking out with love, heartbreak, and a little bit of fear after receiving disturbing messages from fans furious she could not attend the Wicked: For Good premiere in São Paulo.

The Grammy-winning superstar took to Instagram to explain that she and several cast members were unable to attend due to a serious aircraft safety issue. But not everyone was sympathetic. After alarming threats surfaced online, Grande broke her silence with a rare emotional plea.

A WICKED NIGHT… WITHOUT GLINDA?!

Brazil rolled out its green carpet for Oz’s most glamorous blonde, but fate said “not this time.” Grande and her castmates were scheduled to depart after a marathon work streak. But when their plane was flagged for safety issues, the event came undone faster than a flying monkey at turbulence.

There were no backup planes, no magical bubbles, no ruby slippers, just disappointment and grounded broomsticks.

“PLEASE DON’T WISH DANGER ON US,” ARI IS BEGGING, Y’ALL

The usually soft-spoken star sharpened her tone as she addressed an alarming wave of angry messages.

“Please don’t wish danger on us. We did everything we could and I promise you no one is more upset than I am, I promise.”

Her message quickly turned into a heartfelt plea:

“No matter how upset or disappointed you are, please please do not wish danger on us or assume that we didn’t try.”

In other words:
She gets it. She’s gutted. But threatening Glinda is where the Emerald City draws the line.

THE CURSED PLANE THAT ENDED THE PARTY

The singer explained that she wrapped another film on the 31st and worked straight through the 1st and 2nd. Everyone, including Jonny, Cyn, and Jon, was slated to leave on the same day.

One plane.
One glaring safety issue.
Zero alternative options.

“It just so happened that this plane had a safety problem and I have explained why finding another option was impossible.”

Translation: Even international pop royalty can’t force physics to cooperate.

THE YEAR-LONG COUNTDOWN THAT WENT UP IN PIXIE DUST

Grande confessed this wasn’t just a quick press stop. It was a long-awaited dream.

“I have been looking forward to this moment for a year… so please know how disappointed I am…”

She made it clear this wasn’t a diva move. It was heartbreaking for her and her Brazilian fans.

BRAZIL, ARI STILL LOVES YOU LIKE CRAZY

Even in disappointment, she kept it tender.

“Sending lots of love to you all. I hope it’s a beautiful and safe night. I love Brazil, I always have, I always will.”

Ariana Grande's Instagram Story

Brazil has always been one of Grande’s loudest, most passionate fandom regions, and she made sure they knew the love hasn’t dimmed.
