Meet The Six Actors Testing For Roles in James Gunn’s Superman: Legacy

Meet The Six Actors Testing For Roles in James Gunn’s Superman: Legacy

With in-person screen tests set to take place, DC Studios Co-CEO and ‘Superman: Legacy’ director James Gunn appears to be closer than ever to finding the actors who will play Clark Kent and Lois Lane in the film.

Nicholas Hoult, David Corenswet, and Tom Brittney are expected to test for the role of Clark Kent/Superman, according to Deadline. According to the publication, Emma Mackey, Rachel Brosnahan, and Phoebe Dynevor are expected to audition for the role of Lois Lane.

Some of the test deals have reportedly yet to close and are still being negotiated, but these are the names that are currently expected for the auditions.

Given that Clark Kent has played a significant role in the DC Universe for over 80 years and has undergone numerous iterations and adaptations in a variety of media, Superman: Legacy is a highly anticipated project.

The upcoming DC film promises to show how difficult it was for Clark Kent to maintain his dual personas of Superman and Clark Kent while battling evildoers and defending the world. It’s a risky move that could give the character new life and win over a new audience by emphasizing his early years in the industry.

The film will not only focus on the main characters but will also introduce new faces to James Gunn and Peter Safran’s DC Universe. According to reports, Legacy will feature a slew of established DC Comics characters.

‘Superman: Legacy’ is set to hit theaters on July 11, 2025.

New “Secret Invasion” Trailer: Samuel L. Jackson Has To Save The World From The Skrulls

New “Secret Invasion” Trailer: Samuel L. Jackson Has To Save The World From The Skrulls

Disney+ has released a new TV Spot to promote Marvel’s Secret Invasion, which will premiere on June 21st.

The trailer depicts Samuel L. Jackson’s character, Nick Fury, as the most wanted man on Earth as the Skrull army breaches weak points in our defense against the approaching invasion.

Heroes have fought gods, monsters, and unspeakable things throughout the MCU’s history. The Skrulls, on the other hand, pose a different threat, casting doubt on identities and shattering trust for everyone involved in the conflict.

The Skrulls, an alien race, can flawlessly imitate any human being at will. They are both a threat to humanity and the ultimate weapon because of their ability to infiltrate. They can be anyone at any time. Your friends’ neighbors. Your coworkers. They’re all over. Fury is aware that Earth is facing a threat, unlike anything it has ever faced because almost no one can be trusted to stop the covert invasion.

A group of Skrull extremists led by Gravik (Kingsley Ben-Adir) radicalizes soldiers for a hostile takeover in Secret Invasion. After growing tired of Talos’ (Ben Mendelsohn) rule, Gravik departs from the Skrulls we first met in 2019’s Captain Marvel. The scenario is similar to real-world events in which groups break away, causing chaos and disorder in otherwise peaceful alliances.

Cobie Smulders, Martin Freeman, Charlayne Woodard, Killian Scott, Samuel Adewunmi, Dermot Mulroney, Christopher McDonald, Katie Finneran, with Emilia Clarke and Olivia Colman, and Don Cheadle star alongside Disney+’s “Secret Invasion.”

Ali Selim directs and executive produces the series, along with Kevin Feige, Jonathan Schwartz, Louis D’Esposito, Victoria Alonso, Brad Winderbaum, Samuel L. Jackson, Ali Selim, Kyle Bradstreet, and Brian Tucker.

Kyle Bradstreet is also the show’s head writer, and Jennifer L. Booth, Allana Williams, and Brant Englestein serve as co-executive producers.
