Bebe Rexha sent Drake a shot. And he didn’t respond.
Grammy-nominated singer revealed in a new episode of Angie Martinez’s IRL podcast how she tried to hook up with the rapper in the wake of his popular 20v1 speed-dating live stream last month, but remained unanswered.
“I’m your dream girl, I’m Albanian, I got a fat a**, I got my own thing going on, and I don’t even think he saw it or he saw it and just ignored it,” Rexha said.
In this episode, released on September 10th, she shared details of her path from NYC songwriter to recording artist in Los Angeles, and her collaboration with country icon Dolly Parton on their duet “Seasons.”
The singer thinks Drake might have been spoiled too much by his ex-girlfriends to be interested in someone else. As is known, the rapper had a romance with Rihanna, whose famous hits included such duets with Drake as “What’s My Name?” and “Work.”
“I feel like anybody who’s dated Rihanna like you can never go up from there like she is the baddest,” Rexha said.
This was not the first embarrassing encounter between Bebe Rexha and Drake. She shared how she met the rapper at an awards ceremony, but things went differently than expected.
“I think I bumped into him at an award show one time, but he was with his crew, and there was some drama going on at the time, and I was like ‘Hey Daddy?’ and he gave me like the dirtiest look, and his security came to me like ‘Do not call him that,'” Rexha said.
Her message came after Drake’s 20v1 live stream special held on Saturday, August 8th, on the streaming platform Kick. Nelk organized the event, which featured Kyle Forgeard.
The three-hour stream marked Stake’s ninth anniversary; the online crypto casino sponsors Drake’s live streams. To promote the show, Stake awarded participants over $1 million in cash and prizes.
The 20 women, mostly OnlyFans creators, took turns chatting with the rapper. The winner was Lin Lamar, who goes by Pinkchyu online, and she won a house for her retired mother.
One highlight of the night was Lamar asking Drake to bark, and he did.
Another finalist, Jordyn Lucas, left with a Birkin bag and $25,000. Adult content creator Lena Nersesian, who goes by the name Lena the Plug, was one of the finalists as well.
Rexha, who has Albanian origins, has openly discussed her love life previously. In 2023, she told Access Hollywood how she messaged Pedro Pascal and didn’t get any response. In December 2025, she asked fans on Twitter to help her find a “baby daddy” and laid out a list of conditions for her future lover.
