Ben Lucchese: Crown Choice Inn & Suites Manager Calls Customer An “Idiot” and Kicks Her Family Out

A woman and her family were allegedly kicked out of the Crown Choice Inn & Suites in Mackinaw City, Michigan in the middle of night after asking the hotel manager for help with a situation in her room.

Jennifer Tylka Biela shared on Facebook about her terrible experience. She even posted a video about how the hotel manager handled the situation. The Crown Choice Inn & Suites in Mackinaw City, Michigan manager has been identified as Ben Lucchese.

Jennifer says: “Jonesta Kimble and I decided to go on an adventure with our 5 kids total. Our third day we made it to Mackinaw City with plans to go to the island the next day. We stayed at the Crown Choice Inn and Suites. The hotel wasn’t great but we were determined to make the best of it. Around 11 my kids and I went to bed. My son heard water running and discovered the bathroom was flooding. I ran down to the front desk. He asked me if I shut the valve off and I said no I am coming to you for help. He stated that since I refused to turn the water off it was my responsibility and he was calling the police to charge me with malicious destruction of property. He said we needed to pack our bags and leave. He told me I was an “idiot”, a “dumbass” and several other derogatory names. I was in such shock but managed to start recording this about halfway through the conversation. The police came, my friend packed up 5 kids and two moms and we had to leave the hotel after midnight. There was only one other hotel in Mackinaw that was open and not owned by this family. We tried but they were full. So at 2:30 in the morning we made it to Gaylord and went home the next day. When I got home I found there are terrible reviews and many complaints filed with the Better Business Bureau regarding the poor quality, cleanliness and customer service for this hotel and others.”

This isn’t the first rodeo for Ben Lucchese. Many complaints have been filed against Ben and the Crown Choice Inn & Suites in Mackinaw City on the Better Business Bureau in the past about their services.

Ben was also accused of being a racist when a customer left a review on Trip Advisor when they stayed at the Ramada by Wyndham Mackinaw City Waterfront back in 2016. The customer also claims he filed a racism complaint with the hotel and even posted the the case number.

Crown Choice Inn & Suites have not spoken out about the situation that is currently making it rounds on social media.
