With her Best R&B Performance win for Black Parade, Beyoncé passed Alison Krauss and made the record for most Grammys won by a female artist.

Beyoncé is now tied with Quincy Jones as the second most awarded musician at the Grammys with 28 wins. Conductor Georg Solti holds the record for most Grammy wins with 31.
