BLACKPINK’s Jennie to release new single ‘You & Me’ on October 6th

K-pop girl group BLACKPINK’s Jennie will release a special solo single, “You & Me,” the group’s agency announced on Wednesday.

According to YG Entertainment, the new song will be released on major domestic and international music platforms at 1 pm on Friday. (Korean time).

The record label also released a promotional poster for the new album on social media today.

Jennie performed this song for the first time during the group’s world tour, performing the song in a mystical atmosphere with a full moon in the background.

YG announced, “We decided to formally release the song for the fans who attended the tour,” YG said. “We hope it will be a special gift that will bring back the emotions of the time.”

‘You & Me’ will be Jennie’s first release since her solo debut, ‘Solo,’ in 2018. Earlier this year, she co-wrote ‘One of the Girls’ with The Weeknd and Lily-Rose Depp for the soundtrack of HBO’s The Idol.
