Body Cam Footage Of Sacramento Police Officer Who Gunned Down Stephon Clark

Stephon Clark, 23, was gunned down by a Sacramento police officer. The police department said officers responded to reports that a man broke into at least three cars along 29th Street in the Meadowview area. They believed Stephon Clark fit the description of the man who broke into the cars.

The officers chased Stephon Clark around. When Stephon Clark pulled an object out of his pockets. The officers feared for their lives so they show Stephon. It turns the object Stephon Clark was holding was a cellphone. Investigators said Stephon Clark had no firearms on him when got shot multiple times by officers.
The officers have been placed on paid administrative leave while the incident is being investigated, which is standard department protocol in cases of an officer-involved shooting.
