A substitute teacher in the Boyd ISD got arrested for allegedly having an improper relationship with a student, according to Wise County Messenger.
The publication revealed that 28-year-old Kelcei Michelle Ferguson is the substitute teacher that got booked into the Wise County Jail.
She faces two charges for online solicitation of a minor and improper relationship between an educator/student.
The Boyd ISD reportedly received a report about the substitute teacher communicating online with a student outside of school hours.
Ferguson got placed on administrative leave as the district investigated the report, and her employment was terminated earlier this week, according to a press release from the school district.
Kelcei Michelle Ferguson is currently still in the Wise County Jail.
