Pop princess Britney Spears has been busted on suspicion of driving under the influence in Ventura County, California, according to law enforcement sources.
According to reports, Spears, a famous American singer, was arrested by California Highway Patrol officers in Ventura County, just northwest of Los Angeles, around 9:30 pm on Wednesday.
According to jail records, Spears, now 44, has been arrested and released. However, there are no immediate reports on what happened, such as a possible accident or what prompted the officers to pull her over.
Many of Britney’s fans have been worried about Spears’ well-being and health, especially after a Los Angeles judge ruled in 2021 that her father, Jamie Spears, no longer had legal conservatorship over her life.
Since the end of the conservatorship, Spears has been active on social media, communicating with fans on Instagram. However, some fans are divided about her behavior and activities on the platform.
Since Spears rose to fame in the late 1990s with hits such as “…Baby One More Time” and “Oops!… I Did It Again,” Spears has been recognized globally as one of the best-selling artists in the music industry.
Authorities have not released further information about potential charges, and Spears has not publicly addressed the arrest.
