Dunkin’ Donuts allegedly fired Bryan Johnston, 16-year-old, worker for charitably giving food to the homeless instead of the usual 300+ donut waste that goes in the bin every day.
Johnston made multiple videos on TikTok exposing the company how much donuts goes into the trash every night while people are literally starving on the streets.
People on TikTok went crazy and asked him if he would give the food away to the homeless and he did. Johnston made a TikTok giving out donuts he would have thrown away to homeless and frontline worker.
After the viral videos start to hit home with people. Dunkin’ Donuts allegedly had to let him go because he was ruining their reputation with people. Johnston made a video announcing he got fired.
In the end, Johnston made another video buying donuts from Krispy Kreme and donating it to healthcare workers.
