And it represents a marked transformation from the bombastic action style of the five previous movies directed by Michael Bay. Bumblebee director, Travis Knight brings out the real human and autobot connection in this film like we have never seen before. Charlie (Hailee Steinfeld) a teenage girl who loved fixing and building cars with her late father. Discovered the lonely and lost autobot Bumblebee, Charlie and the car quickly help each other learn to live and love again, but their friendship is threatened when more Decepticons forge an alliance with a shady government agency that has a score to settle with Bumblebee and the autobots. The two are a perfect match for each other. They are both hurt and lost in the world and really don’t know what their place in life is but they must come together to save the planet.
