Cardi B returned to the stage for the first time after just giving birth to her and Offset daughter, Kulture Cephus.

The 25-year-old mega star rapper performed at the 2018 Global Citizens Music Festival in Central Park on Saturday, Sept. 29, in New York City.

Cardi B had a very important message to tell the concertgoers at Global Citizen Music Festival. The young rapper showed leadership last night as she urged the crowd to go vote.

“We need to vote — ‘specially us, da millennials. Under 25 and over 18. We need to vote!”

She reminded concertgoers of “that person” who won the presidential election because “everybody took it as a joke — even me. I’m not even gonna front! Because I thought, man, that person ain’t gonna win. And look where we at now!”

Many people have given up on the voting system in America. Many feel like their vote doesn’t matter which is incorrect. These midterms are more important than the presidential election because this actually affects your everyday lives.
