Alex Fine, Cassie Ventura’s husband, shared a heartfelt and timely Instagram post in support of women and children who have experienced domestic violence. The letter, albeit being written some time ago, has gained new resonance in light of recent events.
Fine’s Instagram caption accompanying the letter read: “Wrote this awhile back but the words ring true not just today but every day. I want my kids and every kid to live in a world that’s safe for women and girls, protects them and treats them as equals. To the women and children, you’re not alone, and you are heard. if you need help call the domestic violence hotline at (800) 799-7233.”
After CNN released surveillance footage of Sean “Diddy” Combs viciously attacking Cassie Ventura in 2016, this emotional message was released.
Social media users are responding to the video with love and light, offering support to Cassie and Alex at this trying time, and voicing their general displeasure and concern.
