Grammy-nominated artist Coi Leray, known for multi-platinum records and several Grammy nominations, makes a comeback with her summer release entitled “Outside,” with Latin Grammy-nominated Eladio Carrión as the featured performer.

According to Leray, this summer release is an anthem she wanted to make for some time. The snippets shared by Leray on Instagram received over 1.5 million views.

“Outside” combines Leray’s passion for hip-hop anthems with the artist’s Puerto Rican background, featuring Carrión as the special guest. In addition to the official drop, Leray went out to perform the song’s preview over the weekend, when the Knicks became NBA champions and the city’s Puerto Rican Day Parade took place.

Media and fans were intrigued by Leray’s street performance and left comments under Leray’s Instagram and TikTok posts about the release. Those included such popular personalities as Power 105.1, OG Ron C, and Bernice Burgos.

It is worth noting that the previous record by Leray, a collaboration with YoungBoy Never Broke Again titled “Better Than Yours,” released in March, keeps appearing in social media posts from hundreds of thousands of people.

Leray will headline BETX FanFest during BET Awards Weekend 2026 in Los Angeles alongside other artists like Mariah the Scientist, B2K, Destin Conrad, and others. Leray recently performed a memorable gig at Heineken House during Coachella 2026, where “Better Than Yours” was particularly well-received.

Last year, Leray cooperated with Skrilla on the remix of “Lick Back,” G Herbo on “Act Like You Know,” and Shoreline Mafia on “Pink Money.”
