Cristiano Ronaldo broke another record on Tuesday after scoring his 10th and 11th EURO finals goals in Portugal’s 3-0 win against Hungary. The Portuguese footballer has now appeared in more major international men’s tournaments than any other European player in history. Ronaldo is currently only four goals away from passing Ali Daei as the highest-scoring men’s player in international history.
The Portuguese superstar footballer has become the oldest player to score 2+ goals in a European Championship match, taking the record from Andriy Shevchenko, who was 35y 256d when he scored a brace against Sweden for Ukraine in 2012.
Ronaldo also became the first player in European Championship history to play in FIVE different tournaments.
