It’s Dafne Keen’s 21st birthday, and people are showing her love on social media. Keen was born Jan. 4, 2005, in Madrid to actors María Fernández Achútegui and Will Keen.
Keen first drew significant attention in 2017’s Logan, where she played Laura Kinney opposite Hugh Jackman. For her birthday, fans shared side-by-side photos comparing her child acting years to her more recent, poised looks. Others posted clips highlighting her work in His Dark Materials, The Acolyte, and Deadpool & Wolverine.
Amanda Diaz, Dafne’s best friend, posted a photo of them showing the pre-midnight birthday vibes. Most people also spoke about her glow-up and asked, “Where has the time gone?”
Social media comments included: “This just showed my age now I gotta go rewatch Logan soon,” and “Fact that I’ve been a fan of her since she was a kid? Seeing someone grow is a funny thing, man.” Another person wrote, “There’s no way time went that fast,” while another said, “It was clear in Logan that she would become a gorgeous woman. Some lives are lucky from birth; all that’s left is to be discovered.” One man added, “Logan still holds up as one of the best comic book films of all time.” One woman said, “My lesbian awakening.”
Dafne Keen is set to star in the horror thriller Whistle, which releases in February.
