DDG Accuses Halle Bailey of Taking Gun While Pregnant, Claims She Threatened Suicide Months After Birth

In a court filing more chaotic than a makeup station at Coachella, rapper DDG has made a bombshell complaint against singer and actress Halle Bailey, mother of his just-born son Halo. According to TMZ, DDG is asking the court to stop Halle from taking their infant to Italy with her this weekend, and the charges are as lurid as they are unnerving.

This is not your average celebrity custody dispute. This is a tawdry battle.

Why is DDG Trying To Engulf on Halle Bailey’s Travel With Halo?

DDG’s Wednesday morning filed emergency motion reads more like a tabloid romance novel than legal language. Halle, the rapper says, booked a Saturday flight to Italy with Halo, and he’s taking it like it’s a red-alert situation.

DDG accuses Halle of being “an imminent emotional and psychological threat” to their child. She isn’t stable enough to be a mom, let alone be trusted to take a baby on a flight halfway across the world, he claims. He accused Halle of erratic and unsettling conduct since becoming pregnant. That’s not the half of it, however. One of the major surprises is that he alleges Halle grabbed his gun one day, went out of their house without letting him know where she was going, and returned later outside just holding the gun.

She was pregnant at the time.

That is not all. DDG states that Halle tried to get an abortion in secret but then snapped out of it and gave birth to the child. Two months following the arrival of baby Halo, DDG says she sent him “terrifying text messages” talking about suicide and implying that their son could be harmed as well.

These are heavy, frightening charges, and they paint the picture of a Disney fairy tale romance escalated to Euphoria-level madness.

Halle’s Version of Events: Domestic Violence and a Chipped Tooth

Alright, let’s not be confused: Halle Bailey has already accused DDG of domestic violence. In her earlier allegations, she says he slammed her face into a steering wheel hard enough to chip her tooth.

He says that did not happen.

As DDG tells it, when he came over to take Halo for their turn at the baby, Halle jumped into his backseat and started insisting that they get a co-parenting arrangement worked out right away. He reports that she grew increasingly agitated, began grabbing and slapping him from the backseat, and ended up slapping her own head on the steering wheel due to momentum.

DDG insists he was the victim of the encounter, blaming Halle for physically abusing him, and even went so far as to show pictures of a cut on his hand that he claims she put there.

So, we’re supposed to believe one of Disney’s hottest new stars is just running around popping off in Escalades? That’s what DDG wants us to believe.

What He Wants From the Judge

Against the backdrop of all this hullabaloo, DDG is asking the court to flat-out close down Halle’s Italian villa. But wait, there’s more.

He also asks for sole legal and physical custody of baby Halo, i.e., absolute control. And if that’s not feasible, he wants a third person to oversee all transfers of the child, as co-parenting in person isn’t working.

No word from Halle’s lawyers yet, but you can bet your bottom dollar this is going to get uglier before it gets any prettier.

Who Are You Siding With?

These are not allegations; these are not allegations. This is a war waging in full force in the form of court documents, TMZ releases, and decades’ worth of finger-pointing along gender lines. Both are framing each other as reckless, unstable, and unparental. Baby Halo, mere months old, is the collateral damage in this toxic celebrity custody war.

One minute, she’s “The Little Mermaid.” The next, she’s allegedly threatening to shoot herself pregnant and texting others about hurting herself. And he’s accusing physical abuse and trying to get full custody of their son, Halo.
