Ignoring the Chappelle part for a second. The person running Dear White People is White? That isn't surprising. If you ever want to go down a rabbit go look up the "Screenwriters" of some of your favorite black movies. https://t.co/7ymMtfTRq0

That explains why dear white people felt like a huge parody ( I figured it was) but the parody part was overly done…like a mockery almost. Did anyone else get that? pic.twitter.com/Z08ZEw69TU

The showrunner for Dear White People is…white? That makes no sense. Talk about taking a job that definitely should have gone to a minority… https://t.co/QKFVutzW40

Moore, who is a trans woman, told Variety that Chappelle is a “brilliant goofy comedian” but that the jokes in his recent special, The Closer, “felt different.” She Tweeted that she won’t work for Netflix again “as long as they keep promoting and profiting from dangerous transphobic content.”
