Denis Villanueve Confirms Zendaya Will Have A Bigger Role In The ‘Dune’ Sequel

‘Dune’ director Denis Villanueve confirms to Variety that Zendaya will have a more “prominent part” in the sequel.

Zendaya appeared in the first ‘Dune’ film for only 7 minutes out of the 2 hours and 35 minutes runtime.

Austin Butler and Florence Pugh are reportedly waiting to read the ‘Dune: Part Two’ script before signing on to star in the film.

Denis Villeneuve recently confirmed that the script is “solidified” and “mostly finished.”

‘Dune’ made $400 million at the global box office.
