Deontay Wilder’s Fiancée Telli Swift Granted Temporary Restraining Order Amid Abuse Allegations

Telli Swift, the fiancée of renowned heavyweight boxer Deontay Wilder, has reportedly been granted a temporary restraining order against him. Swift alleges that Wilder has abused her on multiple occasions over the past six years, according to a report from TMZ.

Swift’s claims detail a pattern of severe physical and emotional abuse. She alleges that Wilder choked her “at least five times,” spat on her multiple times, and once pushed her face into a pillow for such an extended period that she “nearly suffocated.”

The allegations extend beyond physical abuse. Swift asserts that in mid-April, Wilder accessed her laptop without permission and sent disturbing messages to her personal and professional contacts. Additionally, she claims that Wilder constantly ridicules her, threatens to destroy her belongings, and demands intercourse three times a day.

The most recent incident, Swift claims, occurred on April 15, when she says Wilder had her thrown out of their Atlanta residence. At the time, she was reportedly in a fragile state following invasive surgery. Since then, Swift has been residing in the couple’s Los Angeles-area home with their 6-year-old daughter. She alleges that Wilder has been using the home’s surveillance system to monitor her activities and expresses concern that he could become violent upon his return to the home following his fight with Zhang in Saudi Arabia.

Wilder, who got engaged to Swift in 2018, has not yet filed a response to the allegations. The temporary restraining order requires him to stay at least 100 yards away from Swift and their daughter and is set to remain in effect until June 25, when both parties are scheduled to appear before a judge.
