Mandy Rose got released by the WWE, according to a report by Fightful’s Sean Ross Sapp. The report notes that the reason Mandy Rose got released was due to the explicit content Rose was posting on her BrandArmy page. They felt like it was outside of the parameters of her WWE deal.
Rose lost the NXT Women’s Title after her 413-day reign earlier this week because that match against Roxanne Perez wasn’t supposed to go down until New Year’s Evil. She was released the next day due to the content she was putting up on her premium content service behind a paywall. It turns out that she had a big reason to keep up that hustle.
During Wrestling Observer Live, Bryan Alvarez noted that Mandy Rose was making “more money” from her paywall content than she was making under her WWE contract.
According to a new report from F4WOnline, following her release, there was some talk backstage that WWE may be looking to bring Rose back down the line at some point if and when things cool off, but nothing is guaranteed.
We’ll have to see what happens and what’s next for Mandy Rose, but hopefully, one day that she will be able to return to WWE to pick up where she left off.
