Sean “Diddy” Combs is now confronting a fourth lawsuit accusing him of sexual assault. Filed in Manhattan, the lawsuit claims that Combs and two other men allegedly gang-raped an unnamed woman in New York in 2003 when she was 17 years old and Combs was 34. According to the complaint, the woman met the men at a lounge in Detroit, where they took her to a New York recording studio via a private plane.
The woman alleges in the complaint that Combs and the two men “plied” her with drugs and alcohol, engaging in acts of sexual assault while she drifted “in and out of consciousness.” Following the alleged assaults, she claims to have “fallen into the fetal position and lay on the floor” before being flown back to Michigan.
Combs, responding to the allegations, stated, “Enough is enough.” He denied the accusations, describing them as sickening and part of an attempt to tarnish his character. Combs asserted his commitment to fighting for his name, family, and the truth.
The woman’s attorney, Douglas H. Wigdor, revealed that the complaint alleges the defendants preyed on a vulnerable high school teenager as part of a sex trafficking scheme, involving drugs, alcohol, and transportation by private jet to New York City. Wigdor emphasized the severe impact of these alleged acts on the victim’s life.
This lawsuit follows three others, with the first filed by singer-songwriter Cassie on November 16th, accusing Combs of rape, control, and physical abuse. The first lawsuit was settled the day after filing, and two subsequent suits were filed, all alleging sexual assault. Combs has consistently denied all allegations against him. The unfolding legal battles pose a significant challenge to the media mogul’s reputation and legacy.
