Sean “Diddy” Combs’ release date has been moved up, according to Federal Bureau of Prisons records.
The music mogul, who is currently 56 years old, is expected to be released from prison on April 25, 2028, according to Federal Bureau of Prisons records obtained by E! News. This is a change from the previously projected release date of June 4, 2028.
The music mogul was sentenced to serve 50 months in prison after being convicted of transporting people to participate in prostitution. This case garnered a lot of attention due to the celebrity status of the convicted individual.
The music mogul’s release date has changed several times since he was sentenced. Initially, the projected release date was to be May 8, 2028. This was later changed to June 4, 2028, after he was cited for breaking a rule related to making and consuming homemade alcohol while incarcerated. The celebrity has denied this claim.
The new projected release date of April 25, 2028, is after the Bureau of Prisons calculated the amount of credit that should be given to the celebrity. Although the Bureau of Prisons does not reveal the reasons for the changed release dates, they are based on standard federal correctional procedures.
The celebrity is currently incarcerated at the Fort Dix Federal Correctional Institution, which is a low-security federal prison in New Jersey. This is after he was transferred to this facility in late October from the Metropolitan Detention Center in New York.
