Prime Video has released the first look photos and the release date for the new thriller series “56 Days,” based on the best-selling novel by Catherine Ryan Howard. The eight episodes will be available to view from Wednesday, February 18, 2026, in over 240 countries and territories worldwide, exclusively through Prime Video.
The series “56 Days” follows a couple, Oliver and Ciara, who meet at a supermarket and fall in love quickly and deeply. Then, homicide detectives appear in Oliver’s apartment to look for an unknown corpse that has been murdered and allowed to decay for 56 days in the apartment where he lives.
“56 Days” offers the audience a thrilling psychological experience through the moments when the couple finds themselves in a life-threatening relationship, while switching to the homicide investigation taking place in the current day.
The series stars Dove Cameron, Avan Jogia, Karla Souza, and Dorian Missick in the lead roles of Ciara Wyse, Oliver Kennedy, Lee Reardon, and Karl Connolly, respectively.
The writers and executive producers of the series 56 Days are Lisa Zwerling and Karyn Usher. Other executive producers in the series include James Wan, Michael Clear, and Rob Hackett through their company Atomic Monster. Amazon, MGM Studios, and Atomic Monster produce the series, with Catherine Ryan Howard as co-executive producer.
