Fighting between Israeli forces and Palestinian militants continues to escalate

The Israel-Gaza conflict has resulted in the deaths of over 100 people in Gaza, nine in Israel and hundreds of more injuries, according to The Washington Post. The exchange of artillery strikes and rockets has not let up, with the possibility of a ground invasion by Israeli troops. An Israeli airstrike on Saturday leveled a high rise building in Gaza that contained the offices of The Associated Press, Al Jazeera and other media outlets.
