Are you drawn to the allure of time-travel horror movies? Do you admire the talents of Kiernan Shipka and Olivia Holt? If so, prepare to be enthralled on October 6th when Prime Video releases its latest cinematic masterpiece, Totally Killer.
Thirty-five years after the shocking murder of three teenagers, the infamous “Sweet Sixteen Killer” reappears on Halloween night to claim a fourth victim. Jamie (Kiernan Shipka), seventeen, disregards her overprotective mother’s (Julie Bowen) warning and confronts the masked maniac, accidentally time-traveling back to 1987, the year of the original killings. Forced to navigate the unfamiliar and outrageous culture of the 1980s, Jamie teams up with her teen mother (Olivia Holt) to catch the killer once and for all before she becomes permanently trapped in the past.
Along with Shipka and Holt, the cast includes Charlie Gillespie, Lochlyn Munro, Troy Leigh-Anne Johnson, Liana Liberato, Kelcey Mawema, Stephi Chin-Salvo, Anna Diaz, Ella Choi, Jeremy Monn-Djasgnar, Nathaniel Appiah, Jonathan Potts, as well as Randall Park and Julie Bowen.
Nahnatchka Khan is the director of Totally Killer. The screenplay was written by David Matalon, Sasha Perl-Raver, and Jen D’Angelo. The film is produced by Jason Blum, Adam Hendricks, p.g.a., and Greg Gilreath, p.g.a.
