First-Look At Reese Witherspoon and Jennifer Aniston In “The Morning Show” Season 3

Reese Witherspoon and Jennifer Aniston are executive producing and starring in the highly anticipated third season of “The Morning Show,” which Apple TV+ shared the first look today. The first two episodes of the third season will also premiere globally on September 13, 2023.

“The Morning Show” season 3 will feature a tech titan taking an interest in UBA this season, the network’s future is called into question, and loyalties are tested. Surprising alliances form, private truths are weaponized, and everyone is forced to confront their core values both inside and outside the newsroom.

In addition to Aniston and Witherspoon, the ensemble cast for Season 3 includes Billy Crudup, Mark Duplass, Nestor Carbonell, Karen Pittman, Greta Lee, Jon Hamm, Nicole Beharie, and Julianna Margulies.

Mimi Leder directed and executive produced the 10-episode third season of the Emmy, SAG, and Critics Choice Award-winning drama; Charlotte Stoudt served as showrunner and executive producer. The drama has already been renewed early for season four.

“The Morning Show” is produced by Media Res and executive produced by Michael Ellenberg, Aniston and Kristin Hahn through Echo Films, and Witherspoon and Lauren Neustadter through Hello Sunshine. Leder is the executive producer and director of the film.

The widely acclaimed second season of “The Morning Show” received Emmy Award nominations for Outstanding Lead Actress in a Drama Series, Reese Witherspoon; Outstanding Supporting Actor in a Drama Series, Billy Crudup, who also won the award for season one; and Outstanding Guest Actress in a Drama Series, Marcia Gay Harden.

Crudup’s performance as Cory Ellison earned him an Emmy in the category of Supporting Actor in a Drama Series in its first season, as well as a Critics Choice Award. Aniston received a SAG Award for Outstanding Performance by a Female Actor in a Drama Series for her powerful performance as Alex Levy. Leder received a nomination for Outstanding Directing For A Drama Series for his work on the season one finale. The show was also nominated for Outstanding New Program by the Television Critics Association and Best New Drama by TV Choice.
