First-Look At “Vacation Friends 2”

The hilarious sequel to the smash comedy “Vacation Friends” from 20th Century Studios will premiere on August 25th exclusively on Hulu in the United States, Star+ in Latin America, and Disney+ under the Star banner in all other territories.

Following up a few months after the events of “Vacation Friends,” this hilarious sequel finds newlyweds Marcus (Howery) and Emily (Orji) inviting their unrestrained best friends Ron (Cena) and Kyla (Hagner), who are also newlyweds and have a baby, to join them on vacation when Marcus scores an all-expenses-paid trip to a Caribbean resort. He made the trip to meet with the resort’s owners to submit a bid for a construction project for a hotel they own in Chicago. However, things spiral out of control when Kyla’s incarcerated father, Reese (Buscemi), arrives at the resort unexpectedly after being released from San Quentin, ruining Marcus’ carefully laid plans and turning the situation into a nightmare.

For the sequel, the cast includes returning actors John Cena, Lil Rel Howery, Yvonne Orji, and Meredith Hagner in addition to newcomers Carlos Santos, Ronny Chieng, Jamie Hector, and Steve Buscemi. Todd Garner and Stuart Besser are the producers.
