Florence Pugh Set To Be In Lover’s Triangle With Zendaya and Timothée Chalamet in Dune 2

Florence Pugh in talks to play Princess Irulan Corrino in ‘DUNE 2’, a royal who becomes romantically entangled with Timothée Chalamet’s Paul Atreides, according to The Hollywood Reporter.

Dune 2 has other casting updates. The sequel plans to have Emperor Shaddam IV, the person who sent Paul Atreides’ family to Arrakis. They will also be casting the nephew of the baron who heads the Harkonnen, Feyd-Rautha.

The budget for ‘Dune’ was roughly around $165 million but made over $400 million at the box office despite it being released on HBO Max at the same time.

Villeneuve’s plans to begin production for ‘Dune 2’ in August.
