A former cast member of “The Real Housewives of Potomac” is now behind bars after being arrested by police at the Atlanta airport.
Records at the Fulton County Jail indicate that Mia Fields-Thornton faces one count of theft by taking, which is a felony.
According to the Atlanta Police Department, police assigned to Hartsfield–Jackson Atlanta International Airport received reports of a wanted person at the Custom and Border Protection agency office, which involved Fields-Thornton.
According to a police report obtained by TMZ, Fields-Thornton is charged with stealing furniture from a condo she was renting on Marietta Street.
According to the report, “the condo management company reported that Fields-Thornton and a male companion named Jared McGriff ‘suddenly moved out of the unit in the middle of the night’ on October 28, making off with furniture and a television.”
According to the police, it is estimated that the total cost of furniture stolen is around $11,000.
In body camera footage recorded from the police interaction, Fields-Thornton confirmed to police that she knew she had an arrest warrant out for her.
Fields-Thornton, who appeared on the hit reality TV show as part of its sixth season lineup, announced her move to Atlanta and her intention not to join the show again last April.
