For 22-year-old Gabby Petito, of Long Island, New York, embracing “van life,” a nomadic lifestyle that embraces living minimally in a converted van while traveling the world, was meant to be an adventure of a lifetime this summer. But less than two months after beginning the road trip of a lifetime with her boyfriend, Brian Laundrie, Petito has disappeared. Laundrie returned to his home in North Point, Florida, with the van, but Petito was not with him, her family said.
Police footage showed a Florida woman who disappeared during a cross-country journey in a converted camper van had an emotional fight with her boyfriend in a Utah tourist town before she vanished.
The video released by the Moab Police Department shows that an officer pulled over the van on August 12th after it was seen speeding and hit a curb near the entrance to Arches National Park.
Petito allegedly posted this photo on her Instagram on Aug 19th but Brian has the photo on a story in his Van Life highlight as being from 6 weeks ago (which would of been the week of Aug 5th).
Police announced late Friday that authorities are searching for Brian Laundrie, the fiancé of Gabby Petito, who remains missing. His family told authorities they haven’t seen him since Tuesday. Laundrie is a person of interest in the disappearance of 22-year-old Gabby Petito.
North Port police officers and FBI agents are searching the Carlton Reserve to find Brian Laundrie.
Gabby family lawyer released a statement about the family thoughts on Brian disappearance.

Miranda Baker is a tiktoker who claims that she picked up Brian Laundrie hitchhiking alone in Wyoming when his girlfriend, Gabby Petito, was last seen.
She claims she picked up Brian Laundrie on August 29th at Wyoming’s Grand Teton National Park at 5:30 p.m. MT in Colter Bay Campgrounds. Recognizing him on TikTok prompted her to call LE.
In the video, Baker says Laundrie was offering to pay $200 for a ride to Jackson, WY, 10 miles away. Baker claims Laundrie also said he was camping for days without his fiancée, and his fiancée was working on their social media page at the van. Not clear if Petito was mentioned.
All of a sudden, Baker said Laundrie wanted to make a dead stop, so she pulled over at the Jackson Dam. The stop was at 6:09 p.m MT and Baker said Laundrie hurried out of the car and said he would hitchhike another ride. Baker said she is speaking with LE.
