A female correction officer and a nurse are now facing charges after allegedly being connected to the brutal beating of a prisoner.

The incident happened less than twenty-four hours after another Clayton County corrections officer was detained and accused of planning a “vicious attack” on an inmate, according to Fox 5 Atlanta.

The jail’s inmates allegedly received drugs from officer Tabitha Clifton. Sheriff Levon Allen of Clayton County claims that Clifton got detained for breaking her fiduciary oath.

Jessica Castellanos, a jail nurse, is charged with obstructing an officer and providing prohibited items to inmates, according to WSB-TV. She got taken into custody Friday night.

The sheriff’s office announced the arrest of ex-officer Sean Hollinshead on Thursday night for allegedly planning and orchestrating a stabbing attack on an inmate.

Sheriff Levon Allen claims Hollinshead placed an inmate in a high-risk housing unit where he was beaten and stabbed. He then allegedly failed to assist the inmate.

According to jail records, Clifton and Castellanos remain incarcerated. Hollinshead bonded out shortly before 5 p.m. on Friday.
