Lifetime Television has just announced the eagerly awaited sequel to the highly successful “Single Black Female.” Titled “Single Black Female 2: Simone’s Revenge,” the film is set to premiere on Saturday, March 2 at 8p/7c, picking up the story three years after the intense events of the first movie.

The original film, which drew in over 8.0 million viewers across various platforms, secured its place as the #1 original non-holiday movie of 2022. The sequel promises to deliver the same captivating drama, with key cast members reprising their roles, including Amber Riley as Simone, Raven Goodwin as Monica, and K. Michelle as Bebe.

In this latest installment, Monica is on a path to a fresh start in Seattle, hosting the city’s #1 primetime investigative television program. With her best friend Bebe by her side and a newfound love interest, Monica’s life seems to be on the upswing. However, the narrative takes a compelling turn as Simone, thought to be dead, resurfaces with amnesia, stumbling upon Monica on TV. This unexpected twist sets the stage for a gripping reunion between the estranged sisters.
