Lisa Ann, a retired adult film star, was handcuffed and arrested by the NYPD on Sunday night while attending comedian Matt Rife’s show, causing a chaotic scene.
The footage has gone viral on social media, which shows Ann being forcibly removed despite her fervent protests of her innocence.
According to reports, Ann, 51, was given a stark decision by authorities on the scene: face arrest or undergo psychiatric treatment for alleged drunk and disorderly behavior.
Ann shared her account of events on X (previously Twitter), expressing disbelief and described the incident as “traumatic, unnecessary, and extreme.”

Ann claims the NYPD contacted her about charges of using her phone during the performance, which she categorically denies. She explained that one of her pals had used her phone to read a text message.
Despite explaining the circumstances to the authorities, Ann was detained about 10:20 p.m., resulting in a lengthy wait on 6th Avenue for an ambulance.
The former adult film star described her humiliation throughout the 45-minute wait, highlighting the cops’ refusal to release her into custody at the hospital owing to other important medical concerns.
After being evaluated by the medical examiner, Ann was eventually discharged on the condition that she immediately leave the comedy program.
Ann, who was sitting in the second row at Radio City Music Hall, was ejected 20 minutes into the event after eight ushers accused her of using her phone, according to TMZ. Though brief, the experience has left Ann disturbed, with emotions ranging from shock to embarrassment.
Despite being arrested, Ann was only detained for 45 minutes. After assessing her situation, the paramedic apparently decided it was unnecessary to keep her in the hospital, highlighting their priority on treating more serious situations.
