“Euphoria” is coming back this spring.
The eight-episode third season of the HBO Original drama series debuts Sunday, April 12 (9-10 p.m. ET/PT) on HBO and will be available to stream on HBO Max. New episodes will debut weekly.
Created, written, directed and executive produced by Emmy nominee and DGA Award winner Sam Levinson, “Euphoria” stars Emmy winner Zendaya and is produced in partnership with A24. HBO said the series is one of the most-watched in the network’s history. Its first two seasons earned 25 Emmy nominations, including nine wins.
Season three’s logline: A group of childhood friends wrestle with the virtue of faith, the possibility of redemption and the problem of evil.
Series regulars include Zendaya, Hunter Schafer, Eric Dane, Golden Globe nominee Jacob Elordi, Emmy nominee Sydney Sweeney, Alexa Demie, Maude Apatow, Emmy nominee Martha Kelly, Chloe Cherry, Adewale Akinnuoye-Agbaje and Toby Wallace.
Returning guest stars include Emmy winner Colman Domingo, Grammy nominee Dominic Fike, Nika King, Alanna Ubach, Sophia Rose Wilson, Melvin Bonez Estes, Daeg Faerch, Paula Marshall, Zak Steiner and Marsha Gambles.

Season three was shot on a new Kodak motion picture film stock in both 35mm and 65mm. Levinson and Emmy-winning cinematographer Marcell Rév collaborated with Kodak to commercialize the new stock in each format. HBO said the season is also the first narrative television series to shoot a significant volume of 65mm film, aiming to provide an expanded image on screen as the characters move out of high school and into a wider world.
In addition to Levinson, executive producers include Ashley Levinson, Sara E. White, Kevin Turen, Ravi Nandan, Drake, Adel “Future” Nur, Ron Leshem, Daphna Levin, Hadas Mozes Lichtenstein, Mirit Toovi, Tmira Yardeni, Yoram Mokady and Gary Lennon. The series is based on the Israeli series from HOT created by Leshem and Levin.
