Hilary Duff paid tribute to her ex-boyfriend, singer, and former child star Aaron Carter after he reportedly passed away on Saturday.
She took to Instagram to give her condolences to her ex-boyfriend:
“I’m deeply sorry that life was so hard for you and that you had to struggle in-front of the whole world. You had a charm that was absolutely effervescent… boy did my teenage self love you deeply… Rest easy ♥️”
Duff and Carter dated in 2000 when they were both 13-years-old.
Carter was found dead in his house in Lancaster, California. His body was reportedly found in the bathtub. TMZ reports that law enforcement received a 911 call, and he drowned in the tub.
Although, the autopsy report hasn’t been revealed as of yet. The police don’t expect foul play in Carter’s death.
