Sha’carri Richardson just won the U.S. Olympic Trials in the 100 meters in dominant fashion. Richardson ran a 10.86 to gain an Olympic spot next month.

After her victory she ran up the stairs to her grandmother (misidentified as her mother) to weep then in the interview immediately following broke the news that her biological mother had died the previous week.
