Hulu has released seven compelling first-look images from its upcoming Original series, “We Were the Lucky Ones.” This limited series, adapted from Georgia Hunter’s New York Times bestselling novel, is set to premiere on March 28 and takes viewers on a poignant journey inspired by the true story of a Jewish family torn apart during WWII.

The narrative, set in the darkest chapters of the twentieth century, unfolds as a testament to the human spirit’s resilience. “We Were the Lucky Ones” delves into the family’s unwavering determination to survive and reunite amid history’s most difficult era. The series, starring Joey King, Logan Lerman, Hadas Yaron, Henry-Lloyd Hughes, Amit Rahav, Sam Woolf, Michael Aloni, Moran Rosenblatt, Eva Feiler, Lior Ashkenazi, and Robin Weigert, promises to deliver powerful performances that bring the characters to life.

Erica Lipez, known for her work on “Julia” and “The Morning Show,” executive produces and writes the series. She also serves as a showrunner, ensuring that the series stays true to its source material.
