Brace yourself for a mind-bending journey with A Different Man, a dark comedy starring Sebastian Stan. The recently dropped trailer offers glimpses of a bizarre and unsettling story, anchored by Stan’s award-caliber performance alongside Renate Reinsve and Adam Pearson.
Written and directed by Aaron Schimberg, the film follows Edward, an aspiring actor desperate for his big break. In a shocking twist, Edward undergoes a radical medical procedure to transform his appearance completely. While he initially dreams of a “perfect” face that will land him leading roles, things turn dark when he becomes fixated on reclaiming something he feels he’s lost in the process.
Stan looks unrecognizable in the trailer, with glimpses of the physical and emotional toll this drastic change takes on his character. A Different Man promises to be a film that explores the complexities of identity, ambition, and the lengths people will go to to pursue their dreams.
Mark your calendars, A Different Man hits theaters on September 20th!
