Brainstorm Media has released the official trailer for the tense thriller Black Diamond, which will make its way to theaters and on-demand platforms on January 10th. Directed and written by Judd Bloch, the film stars Jake McLaughlin (Black Bird, Quantico), Inbar Lavi (Lucifer, Prison Break), and Ray Panthaki (The Serpent Queen).
It is a gripping tale of a young couple, played by McLaughlin and Lavi, moving into a secluded cabin to make a fresh start. Their peaceful retreat becomes a dark one when they encounter a local cowboy handyman, played by Panthaki. What starts as a harmless meeting spirals into a dangerous triangle of lust, obsession, and murder that is likely to tear their lives apart.
The trailer gives a sneak peek of the film’s surreal ambiance and rising tension, with glimpses into the beautiful yet alienating landscape, and the unsettling rapport of the three main characters. The poster is equally ominous in tone, with stark visuals that reveal the chaos churning beneath the surface of this couple’s idealistic getaway.
Judd Bloch, a director who has constructed some of the most unlikely stories, melds psychodrama with visceral action in Black Diamond. The film will take viewers to the edge of their seats as it goes into the vortex of trust, desire, and the deadly consequences of overstepping boundaries.
Mark your calendars now for January 10th when Black Diamond finally hits theaters and goes on demand. Watch the official trailer now, and get ready for the ultimate tease of passion and danger in this highly awaited release.
