Hulu has dropped the trailer for Paradise, the highly anticipated drama series from This Is Us creator Dan Fogelman. This is a high-stakes thriller featuring Sterling K. Brown, James Marsden, and Julianne Nicholson about a shocking murder that sends the serene world of the ultra-wealthy into a shattering tailspin within their idyllic upper-class community. The first three episodes will launch on Tuesday, January 28, 2025, with new episodes streaming weekly.
Murder in a Picture-Perfect Community
Through it all, Paradise involves a cloistered community, home to a number of the world’s most influential and powerful figures. From without, it is a sanctum sanctorum of wealth, beauty, and privilege-a place from which everything appears perfect. But when mua order occurs within the tight enclave, it shatters the façade that was tranquility. The investigation unfolds in a gripping manner as the residents’ darker secrets begin to surface, and what once was thought of as paradise becomes nothing more than a high-stakes game of survival.
An All-Star Cast at the Center of the Mystery
Fogelman has gathered an ensemble that will surely keep viewers in a trance. Sterling K. Brown-thoroughly acclaimed for his work in the award-sweeping show This Is Us-leads this series, delving deep into the minutiae of a man caught in the trappings of a murder investigation. James Marsden, through his work in such series as Westworld and Dead to Me, proves his acting abilities and plays a pivotal character in the unfolding drama. Julianne Nicholson, who did that heart-stopping acting in Mare of Easttown, varnishes another layer on top of her already brilliant career.
Sarah Shahi (The L Word: Generation Q), Nicole Brydon Bloom (The Sinner), Aliyah Mastin (The Rookie), and Percy Daggs IV (Veronica Mars) round out the cast so each character brings a new surprise to the mystery.
